PART 2 : PROGRESS ON THE HARDWARE PART

For this week, I have made several meet up with my supervisor regarding my hardware progress of this project. My supervisor had given me some idea to modify the wheelchair which to add some part to the wheelchair as well as to agreed with the design and progress of the hardware with the welding part. So this week progress on the hardware part will look like this:

The actuator motor that had been assembled with the wheelchair

 A bearing were placed at the back of the seat 

Installation actuator motor to the seat which was under the seat 

Extra iron rod for the actuator motor to hold

Close up of the actuator motor being attach under the seat

Connection of the lower part of the actuator motor 

Above are some of the progression that had been done for the wheelchair. For week 4, before I proceed with the final modification of the wheelchair, I will run some testing on the ability of the seat and the actuator motor to hold a person weight. And maybe to have some other features for the wheelchair that can be add up soon.
